I only knew Paul for a few years but he (and you all) always made me feel so welcome and part of the extended family for which I am forever grateful. He was always willing to help sort out my DIY challenges from a hole in the wall (that I had expected to be just a couple of screw holes that needed filling and to my horror was a two inch plus hole complete with wire sticking out of it) to broken cupboard doors. My initial calls for advice on what to do would end up with Paul calling round with every tool known to man in labelled plastic boxes and a cheerful explanation and demonstration on the solution. I still expect to see Paul and the dogs wandering around Cliveden finding paths where I thought none existed complete with his National Trust maps so he could advise other visitors on how to get about the estate.
